Your data is encrypted in transit and at rest, and handled in line with data protection law.

Your journal, notes and personal documents are visible to you alone. Nothing is shared with your co-parent, a companion account or a lawyer unless you deliberately share it.

Messages and decisions are time-stamped when they are created, and an export can show that a record has not been altered since. That proves the record itself is unchanged — it isn't proof that the underlying events happened as described, and it isn't a guarantee that a court, mediator or any other body will accept it.

The Communication Coach is optional and under your control. It can suggest a gentler way to make the same point, but nothing is rewritten automatically and nothing is sent until you send it.

Messaging happens inside the app, so you don't need to share a phone number or personal email address to coordinate day to day.

Companion accounts and the lawyer portal are view-only, scoped to what you choose, and can be revoked at any time.

You can export your data or delete your account at any time. To protect the accuracy of records both parents rely on, entries created jointly — shared calendar events, messages between parents and shared expense records — remain part of the family's shared record unless removed by mutual agreement. Your journal, private notes and unshared documents are yours alone to delete.
